I wonderfully and fiercly turned 17 on May 14th, 2010 and I could not feel any...normal? Haha its funny, everyone keeps saying I should feel older or something...nahhh.
I DID however have this crazy urge to spoil myself and wear a "Free Hug" tshirt to school on friday. Its funny how many people need hugs these days, considering I got sooo many that day.
But all in all it wasn't gifts or anything that made my birthday, It was growing up and realizing I need to enjoy this thing called "NOW"

The weeks dreams and bleeps:
A trip to UMB to visit the dentistry museum...ho hum...we were SUPPOSED to go to UMBC ( the coolest school in America, hah) but we ended up in a bus accident in baltimore sooo...UMB!
Ugg I've done too much this week, AP test, my aunt from Africa came to visit so we showed her what American shops looked like, sneaking out to spend the night with my best friend hah...I hope these pics help. enjoy <3 Nkongho

Ahh flabbergasted!
Friday the 27th I went to the ROCKHOP+ROLL tour expecting to see some pretty cool bands. I'd gotten a random mix of some of the bands songs the week earlier, which included Attaboy, Highland fall, and Jared Mahone. Jared Mahone, who described himself as the "white guy sandwhiched between 2 bands" was absolutely glistening. I fell in love with his song "Somebody Knows", although I had to complain to him afterwords about not singing it. I told him he was a mix between Jason Mraz and some black R+B singer...I think he took it as a compliment!
